NOTE: The TIMPA gate is locked at all times unless a TIMPA Safety Officer is present - it is usually open on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings (weather permitting). You must have a TIMPA Gate Access Card at all other times.
To fly at the TIMPA facility you must have a current A.M.A. card, purchase of a $10 TIMPA Gate Access Card and pay the appropriate flying fee. In addition, all flying must be in accordance with the TIMPA Field and Safety Rules and the AMA Safety Code. You can purchase a Yearly Pass membership for $70.00 (this is reduced by $5.00 for each subsequent month starting March 1) or pay the $4.00 Daily Fee each time you fly.

NOTE: TIMPA yearly and daily stickers expire on December 31 of every year. If the AMA membership web page does not show that you have renewed your AMA by December 31, your TIMPA Gate Access card will be disabled as of January 1. In addition, a Membership Renewal Form must be received by January 31 of the new year or your Gate Access Card will be permanently disabled - you will then have to purchase a new gate card starting February 1 to continue flying at TIMPA.
